When looking at antique quilts, you will find that most of the fabrics have faded over time, due to use, washing and exposure to sunlight.  But upon closer inspection you will discover the original colours of the fabrics hidden in the seam allowances.  The vibrant greens, reds, yellows and blues that were often used formed the inspiration for this new collection: “Forward to the Past”.

EQP Textiles is a family company based in Belgium, founded in 2006 by Ellen Remijnse.  They combine their interest in antique quilts with a fresh and modern country touch to create their own style.  EQP aims to create beautiful collections of fabrics and patterns with a European influence for patchwork, quilting, crafts and sewing.
